Welcome to the Words to Live By 5K!
Thank you to all of you who participated in the 3rd Annual Words to Live By 5K! It was a great success having more runners than we've ever had. We want to continue growing this great event and we rely a lot on you, the runner, to let us know what you thought about the race. Please go to the Race Survey above and fill it out and help us make this event even better!
The 4th Annual Words to Live By 5K is set for May 11, 2013. Online registration is already setup and get a $10 discount now through February 28th. We thank you for your support of the Boy Scouts of America and our local council!

FINISHER MEDALS!!!! Come run or walk and finish the race and you will receive a finisher's medal! See you there!
Race Photos Benefit Choctaw Area Council
Last year, we were glad to have Snap It Sports Photography team up with us to provide all runners with the chance to purchase pictures of them running in the Words to Live By 5K. From those sales, 100% of the earnings were given directly to the Choctaw Area Council. We are proud to announce that Snap It Sports will again be contributing 100% of the sales to the council. We hope that you will help support Scouting by purchasing your pictures!
Calling All Scouts & Venturers!
Whether you are a member of a Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop, or Venture Crew....we need your help!
Join us on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Boy Scout Service Center by 7:15 am and help out with the setup and running of the race. Line the course and cheer on the runners as they run to support YOU!
All Scouts and Venturers who participate will earn 2 hours of Community Service.
Please fill out the Volunteer form to sign up your Pack, Troop, or Crew to help out with the race!
